It Began With a Dare
Satanic verses brought about great suffrage.
It Got Out of Hand
I lost myself in the crowd.
It Wasn’t My Intention
My vision red, I created havoc.
It Spiraled Out of Control
I stood over my dead mother.
It Ended Abruptly
Countless hands dragged me to Hell.
It Breeds Insanity
Eternal suffering ushered in eternal madness.

This post was written for Six on the Sixth, a prompt I created, with the theme word “evil”. Each part is its own story, but combined they create a longer story. I do hope you’ll visit the prompt post and take part in the fun.

Thanks.
If you’re interested I also do another prompt on the 21st of each month called Storybook Corner. It’s a photo prompt asking for stories 300-500 words.

These are good! I like that you made each story correlate with the other to make a longer story. I didn’t do that on my stories. They are each stand alone. I added my link under your original posting from yesterday.

It kind of makes me want to write a much longer story six words at a time, each sentence a story in itself. I imagine it would be incredibly difficult and time consuming though. No time for that kind of project at the moment.

Love them! My favorite was “It Wasn’t My Intention.”
I’ve just posted mine! I used your prompt this time:

Thanks, Mike. And thanks for joining it. I’m glad others are starting to get involved with it as I’ve had quite a bit of fun with these 6 word stories in the past.

I like the idea of 6 stories linked but also stand-alone. “My vision red, I created havoc” was wonderfully evocative and following up with “I stood over my dead mother” was chilling.

It’s hard to compete with this, I’ll give you that. I love how you continued the theme into one full story. I can’t pick a favorite because each one becomes much stronger when connected with the others. I finally submitted mine today. Loved reading this!
